Dear Diary,

All the boys are slapping my knees and calling me names. They say I only got the role of Queeny in the play 'cause i sound like a girl! Oh Diary, only you can help!

I genuinely think that was an entry in a diary i attempted to keep at the age of 10! Cruel Times.

Its been a hectic few months and even though we haven't  been gracing the stage of your nearest arena, we've been busy! Its those damn foreigners I enlisted, slowing down the pace big-time! Cheap Labour has its drawbacks.

We were in Memphis in February. Twas only Great. We met some amazing musicians and music industry folk and there was a good word around about us. We performed 12 times in the 4 days! Going all the time but thats what we went for. That and the Cheeseburgers! Marissa and Jen, two of the chief organizers of the Folk Alliance, treated us like the Gods we are! : )

They went way above and beyond the call of duty. We are eternally in their debt for the hospitality and laughs. Thanks ladies. There have been a lot of possibilities coming our way as a result of the trip. We'll keep you informed.

Both before and after the trip we have spent much time in the studio in Galway.  I think I'm in the running with Axel Rose for the "Longest time for recording an album" Award. I love rubbing shoulders with the greats. Its nearly recorded now. Mixing is next and I'm told that can take longer than the recording. Ah, its all in a decades work!

Other than that, we've been rehearsing, getting the new website set and I'm working on a film project with a friend, Brian Deane. He used our music in his film 'Without Words'. you can see it on YouTube.

We should be doing a good few gigs in the Summer. See you then,

Em
